Illustration Friday: Midsummer Night

This week's IF topic is Midsummer Night. For some reason, I thought of a swim at sunset, I used this concept to attempt pen and ink drawing. It was fun! It was a great way to experiment with a medium in which I have very little experience. I've always been interested in pen and ink. Yay, IF!

Collages

I have a deep love for making collages. There is something about taking pieces from here and there and making an image that just fascinates me. I suppose it satisfies my ADD tendencies to have a little bit of everything going on in one place. So, here is some of my collage work.

Illustration Friday: Acrobat

Yay!! Finally got something done for Illustration Friday! I'm very new to the illustration world and this is my first Illustration Friday piece. It was so much fun to do, but then acrobats are always fun!

Blackbird: My first doll

Blackbird is my first completed figure. I made her last summer for a dollmaking competition. She's not perfect, but she'll always have a very special place in my heart.
